I studied ceramics in Westchester County, NY at a local arts center where my family and I lived. In 2013, we relocated to Doylestown, PA and are delighted to be part of a wonderful new town and community. I found a wonderful studio locally and continue my work both there and at home. The studio is run by someone who is a terrific teacher and exceptional potter, who supports my love of the craft and encourages my growth.
Our family is comprised of two children, two black standard poodles, two ducks, and four chickens. I love doing almost anything that allows me to work with my hands. I enjoy cooking, building (my chicken run and built-in shelves in our home), knitting, grooming our dogs, and gardening. Of course, I am passionate about getting into my studio to work. I currently work mainly in porcelain, and will throw on the wheel or hand-build. I fire to cone 6 in an electric kiln.
I discovered my love of pottery 13 years ago, and feel blessed to have the ability to do what I love. I couldn't do any of this without the enthusiasm, support and encouragement of my amazing husband, two children, and some very special friends.
